ساعتی هست، درست پیش از بیدار شدن جهان
ساعتی سبک و خاموش، میان خواب و سپیده، که هنوز هیچ چیز نام خود را بر زبان نیاورده است

سروده‌های این دفتر در همان ساعت زاده شده‌اند؛ آنجا که واژه‌ها هنوز بر زمین ننشسته‌اند و معنا، پیش از آنکه گفته شود، در سکوت نفس می‌کشد

The Flight of Words
There is an hour, just before the world awakens—an hour light and hushed, between sleep and dawn, when nothing has yet spoken its name.
The poems in this collection were born in that very hour; in that place where words have not yet touched the ground, and meaning, before it is spoken, breathes quietly in silence.
Fakhri Talebi invites us, in this collection, to pause—to linger over words as they descend, one by one, only to take flight again.
Read slowly. Somewhere between one line and the next, you may sense a familiar, delicate stirring—a feeling of something ancient and tender, that has once again decided to make its way to us.
